This is a husband and wife team: Rafael and Jasmin Ortega.  I, Jasmin am from the U.S.A (Charlotte, NC) and my husband is from Bogotá, Colombia.  We got married in August of 2010 and are currently happily baking, cooking and making a mess in our kitchen here in Bogotá.

Our love for food is one of the many things that bonds the two of us.  We are always having a good time in the kitchen and enjoy trying new things and modifying the recipes.

When we’re not cooking we love to watch movies and catch up on our favorite shows like: House, Glee, Modern Family and any cooking show that’s on.

Somos el matrimonio  Rafael y Jasmin Ortega. Nací en los Estados Unidos (Charlotte, Carolina del Norte) y mi esposo nació en Bogotá, Colombia. Nos casamos en Agosto de 2010 y actualmente estamos felizmente cocinando, horneando y haciendo regueros en nuestra cocina de Bogotá.

Nuestro amor por la comida es una de las muchas cosas que nos une. Siempre la pasamos bien en la cocina y disfrutamos de experimentar y hacer nuevas cosas con las recetas.

Cuando no estamos cocinando nos encanta ver películas y ponernos al día con los episodios de nuestras series favoritas: House, Glee, Modern Family y los canales de cocina.

      Gracias mija. Espero que ustedes se suscriban y vuelvan para ver más recetas. Nos encanta cocinar y tu sabes que vivo por comer. Para que no me dé tan duro la nostalgia trato de cocinar cosas que me recuerden de allá. Y Rafa es un súper chef en la cocina. Ojalá un día podamos hacer algo para los dos. Saludos!

    Hi there RoJo!

    My name is Steve Walters and I recently started blogging at http://www.eatingbangkok.com, which is currently being updated with recipes, but in the next few months will be my vehicle for covering the food and restaurant scene in Bangkok Thailand.

    Hi, thanks for the comment on the award. I just basically followed the same format as the person who gave it to me. The rules are listed in the posting, and you can just copy and paste those into yours and follow the steps/directions. As far as posting the image of the award on yours, I just right-clicked on the image and saved it to my computer and then posted in my sidebar under one of the gadgets for images and gave it a title. I work with blogger- so I don’t know if there is a big difference for you, but probably not. Let me know if you have any other questions. You can email me through my blog under “about me”.
